We encourage all of our Band & Chorus parents to become an active member of our program. By becoming a Parent Volunteer you are supporting the success of our student and the GMS Music Program as a whole. Here’s how you can get involved…
How do I start?
- Become an approved volunteer.
- Got to: www.pasco.k12.fl.us.Under helpful links click on Volunteer Programs then click on Volunteer Application. Be sure your email address is correct when filling out the application.
- Once submitted email myself at cmcgowan@pasco.k12.fl.us or Liz Kuhns at ekuhns@pasco.k12.fl.us to let us know you submitted your application. We will contact you again to let you know to let you know of your application status.
Parent Volunteer Roles
Chaperones: Monitor students and assist Mr. McGowan during field trips, parades, concerts, fundraisers, etc.
Donations: Support our program by donating items like water bottles, facial tissues, pencils, instruments, etc.
Other: Help out by towing our band trailer, passing out music programs, setting up/breaking down at concerts, etc.
